With the assistance of Rupurt, Panattoni Development Co. Inc., based in Newport Beach, California, has acquired 62 acres for the development of a 1 million-square-foot distribution center across from Richmond Marine Terminal (RMT) in Richmond, Virginia. The site is located along Commerce Road, south of the Bells Road/ I-95 interchange and is being marketed as Virginia I-95 Logistics. The project will proceed in two phases with each phase comprising of a 461,700 sq. ft. cross-dock warehouse with a height of 36 feet, LED lighting, and multiple trailer drops. Rupurt has supported the project by providing transaction due diligence, land planning, civil/site engineering, storm-water management design, land surveying, and environmental permitting.
