Various Locations, AZ, MD, VA

Rupurt has designed more than 20 Walgreen’s stores in Arizona, Maryland, and Virginia. Services provided include complex engineering designs, surveying, due diligence, feasibility studies, zoning and entitlement services, construction drawings, landscape architecture, and construction administration.

U.S. Naval Academy Hammer Throw Field Improvements

Annapolis, MD

Rupurt provided surveying, civil engineering, site and landscape plans, and a forest conservation plan for this project at the U.S. Naval Academy in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Rupurt’s scope of services included regrading and providing swales around the hammer throw fields to provide stormwater management through swale infiltration.

Rupurt’s partnership with Starbucks began in 2013 and has since grown into becoming one of their preferred civil engineers. Our teams work closely with management to produce site development and construction management plans for new stores across multiple states.

Tallyn Ridge

Frederick, MD

Rupurt provided is core planning, survey, and civil design services to deliver an environmentally and pedestrian friendly residential subdivision. The team was challenged to preserve much of the existing natural beauty while delivering great views to the residents. Rupurt also modeled and designed the public road and utilities required to serve the site.

Sam’s Club Stores/Fueling Stations

Rupurt has worked on multiple Sam’s Club Store and Fueling Station projects throughout the United States, providing engineering, planning, surveying, and environmental due diligence studies. The scope also included underground utilities, erosion & sediment control and drainage plans.

Patuxent River Naval Air Station Hangar 111

Lexington Park, MD

Rupurt established a GPS control network based on NAD 83 and NAVD 88 verified to Patuxent River Base control, conducted detailed topographic and existing conditions surveys of the tarmac and parking areas utilizing 3D laser scanning technology and a mobile TopoLift.

Giant/Martin’s Grocery Store & Fuel Programs

Various Locations, VA, MD & Washington, DC

Rupurt continues to work with Giant/Martin Food Stores for various engineering, planning, surveying, and environmental due diligence studies for several store locations and fueling centers. Sites range from one to seven acres.

Maryland Live! Casino

Anne Arundel County, MD

The project included a 200,000 sq. ft. casino with restaurants and a venue for live entertainment, a parking garage, and surface parking on approximately 12 acres of the Arundel Mills Development.

Navy CLEAN 8012 & 9000

Various Locations, MD, VA, WV

Provided surveying services for 15 projects including surveying anomalies at Site Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) sites, surveying in support of munitions response activities, location and stake out of groundwater screening and injection locations and more.

Grover Road Intersection Improvements

Severn, MD

Rupurt provided support under an active on-call multi-year agreement with the Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works. The project required final engineering and surveying for roadway widening, turn-lane construction and drainage improvements.

Henderson Way Road Improvements

Suitland, MD

Rupurt provided design for the 3.8-acre site that required engineering efforts from a detailed site plan through final engineering and surveying. Additionally, the team is responsible for permitting and construction oversight once designs are completed.

Bowen Solar Farm

Calvert County, MD

Rupurt provided a detailed topographic survey and preliminary engineering services to facilitate initial discussions with Calvert County officials and included a concept plan to illustrate the improvements relating to the proposed solar panels.

Calumet

New Market, MD

Rupurt team designed and planned a 900 plus unit residential subdivision as well as public road and utility infrastructure. The team was challenged with creating a site sensitive design while maximizing the total allowable dwelling units all while balancing community buy in with the town residence and adjacent neighbors.

Canton Car Wash

Baltimore, MD

Rupurt provided surveying, land planning, and engineering services. Given the unique nature of this car wash project it required an analysis of both automobile and pedestrian circulation patterns within the site to ensure safety of users and the public. This project took a highly visible, dilapidated and under-utilized piece of industrial real estate and transformed it into an attractive “green” commercial site offering premium automobile services to the community.

Amazon Building (Project Rook)

Baltimore, MD

Rupurt provided various professional services for this 346,400 sq. ft. warehouse and was responsible for the planning and design of stormwater management, storm drain layouts, water and sanitary sew-er alignments, erosion and sediment control staging, permitting, as well as retrofit design for storm-water pond conversion.

Andrews Air Force Base Family Housing

Prince George's County, MD

Rupurt prepared demolition plans for areas proposed for redevelopment of residential units and future commercial and office uses. Scope included preliminary engineering design, layout and grading of roadways and housing units, utility design, stormwater management, topographic and improvement surveys, and an ALTA/ACSM land title survey. Technical review and quality control of final engineering documents were also provided.

Walmart

To date, Rupurt has provided more than $56M in consulting services for over 500 Walmart stores across the country. These projects typically include a new building and parking lot and Rupurt is generally responsible for designing all onsite utilities, grading and erosion control, coordination with adjacent land owners, and facilitating city approvals.
