Confidential ILS System

Southeast, AZ

Rupurt was retained to provide detailed design of concrete footings and steel pipe supports for this Intermediate Leach System (ILS) which includes two pipelines.

Confidential Leach Pad Phase II

Southeast, AZ

Rupurt performed value engineering and design optimization for the phase II design of a leach pad in a canyon with aggressive slopes (~2.5H:1V). The design included liner subgrade, geomembrane and GCL, solution collecting pipe network, and overliner drain rock.

Confidential Stockpile Dams

Southeast, AZ

Rupurt performed the engineering design and construction quality assurance for multiple stormwater retention dams. The design process included watershed analyses, lithological investigation and interpretation, earthen structure stability analyses, and flow considerations for a 100-year storm event.

Confidential Filter Infrastructure

Southeast, AZ

Rupurt provided the concrete slabs, foundations, and anchor designs for new infrastructure for the expansion of the Hydromet area to allow the SX/EW facili-ties to handle increased throughput. This work included the structural design and drawings, identifying civil components such as tops of concrete on footings and slabs, ensuring drainage to the existing drain sump and the addition of a contain-ment curb to improve capture of spills.

Confidential Haul Road Culverts

Southeast, AZ

As a result of a new pit being developed at the mine, a haul road was developed from the pit to the existing crushing facility. Rupurt designed six (6) culverts that allow stormwater to flow under the new haul road.

Confidential Wash Settlers

Southeast, AZ

Rupurt, having previously designed the original settlers during another project, designed two new Wash Settlers with related structures, containment, equipment, storage, piping and instrumentation.

Confidential Conveyor Corridor

Southeast, AZ

A new leach pad is being developed to meet the needs of a new pit. A major earthwork project was undertaken to link the existing conveyor system to the new leach pad. As part of this project, Rupurt provided temporary traffic control and temporary road designs as well as engineered drawings, specifications, construction scopes of work, and bid packages for the earthwork and new traffic underpass.

Confidential Early Mine Water Supply

Southeast, AZ

Rupurt developed a water distribution plan to provide potable and construction water to thhis project. This included the design of wells, impoundments, booster stations, overland pipelines and storage facilities. The first stage of this system currently operates at 650 psi and transports water over 2 miles.

Confidential Stormwater Diversions and Culverts

Southeast, AZ

Rupurt designed three stormwater diversions to protect a leach pad. These diversions required the engineering design of several structures including channels, levees, energy dissipation structures and box culverts. In conjunction with these designs, Rupurt developed method specifications for compaction and a design for soil cement that utilized the material sourced from the channel excavation.
