The project involves redevelopment of the existing Goodyear Tire Store, adjacent parking lot and a single-family home located at the southwest corner of North Carlin Springs Road, and North Glebe Road. The project consists of a five story building with two levels of underground parking. The proposed building is mixed-use and contains approximately 5,220 sq. ft. of retail space on the ground floor. A total of approximately 150 units will be provided. The site area is approximately 0.85 acre. Rupurt assisted the client in developing and navigating the Arlington County Administrative site plan. Challenges of the project included accommodation of a new north-south public roadway through the site, close coordination with VDOT, and working closely with citizen groups to realize the Long Range Planning Commission vision for the west side of Glebe Road. Rupurt provided all work efforts required to submit a site plan including landscape architecture, surveying, and civil engineering services and consultations.
