In support of initiatives to improve mobility on East 112th Avenue, Rupurt provided civil engineering and construction management services to rebuild the road from Washington Street to the railroad tracks east of Irma Drive. The street was widened with a striped center median. Dedicated left and right turning lanes were added at Irma Drive, with left turning lanes going in at Larson Drive. Retaining walls were installed on the south side of the road. As part of the reconstruction, a pedestrian crosswalk system was installed at Larson Drive and 112th Avenue, as well as a new trail head on the north side of 112th Avenue. The entire project corridor will receive new landscaping on both sides of the road. Work also included enhancements to water mains and storm drainage systems.
